A new look for an old favourite...
The Peppermint Paddock Sparkling Red has a brand new and oh so shiny label.
Initially released as a dry red wine in 1992, then relaunched as a sparkling wine in 1996, this is the first time the label has been updated in over 24 years of production.
Embellished with three foil colours of copper, silver and gold, the new label for The Peppermint Paddock is sophisticated and stylish. Featuring a cut paper composition of peppermint gum leaves and a graphic interpretations of bubbles, the playful illustration reflects the handcrafted and artistic nature of the wine, while representing its namesake and the bubbles contained within.
Historically made from the single variety of Chambourcin, this release has been carefully blended with select parcels of Shiraz and Graciano to add flavour and complexity. The name of the wine is inspired by the peppermint gums that surround the Chambourcin vineyard, coupled with a subtle mint nuance on the palate. With a vibrant purple mousse, a swirl of exotic spice and full palate, the sparkling wine is the perfect counterpart to the elegance of the label.
The Peppermint Paddock is available from 26 September 2016, and retails at $28. Buy Now.
