Chester Osborn is an Entrepreneur of the Year National Finalist
That trophy's going straight to the pool room... and now he's up for a national award in October.
In a cheeky rainbow tie and his characteristic Cheshire Cat smile, Chester was honoured as an Entrepreneur of the Year National Finalist. He stood alongside 5 outstanding entrepreneurs from Adelaide who all took out top honours at the 2016 EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Central Region awards ceremony last week.
The judges said “d’Arenberg’s combination of fourth generation family heritage and Chester’s passion, fresh ideas and innovative approach, has seen the company grow both in size and reputation since Chester took over as chief winemaker in 1983. Already boasting the busiest cellar door in McLaren Vale and exporting to more than 90 countries, the d’Arenberg Cube presents an exciting growth opportunity for the winery and an innovative new legacy for the entire McLaren Vale region.”
Chester and the central region finalists are now looking forward to the National judging which will take place on Wednesday, 19 October in Sydney and will bring together all National finalists and award recipients from around the country. So… Chester could be adding yet another trophy to the pool room.
